ATI Catalyst 8.41.7 drivers for Linux released

ATI released new Catalyst drivers for Linux - version 8.41.7. This version only supports the Radeon HD 2000 series but features a big performance boost for several games:
This release of Catalyst includes significant OpenGL performance improvements for a variety of ATI Radeon graphics accelerators for OpenGL consumer based games such as Doom 3 and Quake 4.
You can download them over here. A new Linux driver for older ATI graphics cards will follow next month.
