Posted on Tuesday, September 18 2007 @ 19:18:02 CEST by

Lots of news coming from the Intel Developer Forum in San Francisco is hitting the web today.

In the next couple of hours you can expect lots of IDF related posts, the first one is about USB 3.0. This new USB specification should be completed in the first half of 2008 and will be backward compatible with the current USB 2.0.

Intel says USB 3.0 will offer up to 5Gbps transfer - which is ten times faster than USB 2.0.
