Intel 45nm desktop processor roadmap unveiled

A roadmap of Intel's upcoming 45nm processors was leaked in the Internet. It appears that most chips will arrive in January, although the top model will already be launched in November.

The QX9650 will be a quad-core beast clocked at 3GHz with 12MB L2 cache and a huge 130W TDP. The lower-clocked quad-core models which arrive in January will have a 95W TDP and the dual-core models a 65W TDP.
