The Tech Report says we can soon expect AMD to launch the Radeon HD 2900 Pro graphics card as several European eshops are already listing the graphics card on their website:
In Europe, British e-tailer Overclockers UK has three 2900 Pros available for pre-order. The cards are from Sapphire and Hightech, and Overclockers UK lists a September 30 ship date. In Germany, too, Heise Online's price search engine shows several e-tailers already offering Radeon HD 2900 Pro cards for pre-order. The cheapest model listed there is €260, suggesting the same card would cost $260 in the United States.

Along with European retailers, AMD partner HIS has also spilled the beans on its Radeon HD 2900 Pro model. The card is listed on the company's website, complete with specifications and a product photo. Judging by the HIS card, the Radeon HD 2900 Pro will look the same as the 2900 XT, will have the same number of stream processors (320), and the same 512-bit memory bus. However, the Pro will have a 600MHz core clock, and its 512MB of GDDR3 RAM will run at 800MHz. For reference, the Radeon HD 2900 XT runs at 742MHz and has a 825MHz memory clock.
