Next month Sony will launch a new video walkman in Japan - the Sony NW-A910.

The player can be used to watch and record digital TV, Sony says the 16GB model can store 100 hours of digital TV. But I'm not so sure if people will use this thing a lot as the display is only 2.4" with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels.

The NW-A910 supports MPEG4 and H.264 video and plays MP3, AAC, WMA and ATRAC music. Battery life is 36 hours for music and 6 hours for video.

It will be available in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities for 30,000 yen, 35,000 yen and 45,000 yen, respectively. That's about $259, $299 and $389.
