3DGPU heeft een vergelijking gepost op hun site tussen de Detonator 40.41 drivers en Detonator 30.82 drivers :
So far, playing games with these new drivers, I've seen some show improved performance, while others are about the same. I've played through most of my games, and so far I noticed a slight problem with MotoGP. Using FSAA, multicolored triangles would pop up at random times during a race. It gets quite annoying. There is one big gripe I have as well, which is that some of my games are now really dark, and hard to see. Quake 3 is an example, and I have to crank up the Brightness to the max sometimes to compensate. Other than that, I haven't seen any indicator that my games decreased in image quality due to the speed improvements.

In the end, looks like these drivers are keepers. The performance jump in some games is pretty nice, and since none seems to have gone down, that's a Good Thing™. Kudos once more to NVIDIA for cranking out drivers that increases the speed without sacrificing image quality, and also giving us a more robust control panel
