Taiwanese OEM sources say Apple is considering to adopt the Intel Moorestown platform processor in a next-generation iPhone.

Moorestown is a mobile internet device platform which was presented last month at the IDF. Intel shows off a prototype of Moorestown which looked a lot like a wider "iPhonish" device.

Moorestown will be launched in 2009.
