The NVIDIA G98 (D8M) GPU will be a low-cost part that will replace the GeForce 8400 GS, according to FUD Zilla. It will ship next month for a bit more than $50.
Nvidia’s new D8M, G98 is a $17 chip that will replace 8400GS cards in the OEM and channel market, but it will be a tough fight as Nvidia has very cheap Radeon HD2400 card to fight in this segment.

The card will cost just above $50 and it will be ready by middle of November. Traditionally Nvidia was losing to ATI in this market segment and ATI is very close with its 55 nanometre chips as well.
