Over at the French hardware forum of Les DeLLiens some interesting details were posted this week about an upcoming 12.1" tablet PC from Dell: the Latitude XT.
The Dell Latitude XT will become available on November 5th and will feature the ultra low voltage 1.2GHz U7600 Core 2 Duo "Merom" processor from Intel. The system will use the ATI RS600ME/SB600 chipset and will support up to 3GB of 667MHz DDR2 memory.
It has a 12.1" LCD display with a 1280 x 800 pixels WXGA resolution. Users can choose between a CCFL display or a more expensive LED-backlit display that weighs less and uses less power.
The graphics are provided by the ATI Radeon Xpress 1250, there's 802.11n WiFi support, Bluetooth support and the notebook has three USB 2.0 ports.
According to the forum users will be able to choose between a 4-cell, 6-cell and 9-cell battery but it's not clear yet how much battery life these models will provide. Depending on the features, the notebook will weigh between 1.6kg and 1.8kg.
