Unreal Tournament 3 (Beta Performance)

Everyone enjoys a good surprise and this is exactly what I got late Friday night, actually it was really very early Saturday morning. As I sat at my computer sucking down my last red eye I stopped by one of my favourite download sites just to see if there was anything new I could start to download before passing out at 3:00am in the morning. Right away the words “Unreal Tournament 3 Beta Demo” caught my attention and I actually had to read it twice before clicking the link...

"It would appear that Epic has done a good job when it comes to optimising Unreal Tournament 3 for use with lesser graphics cards. Of course the game was still much more favourable to the high-end GeForce 8800 GTX/GTS and Radeon HD 2900XT graphics cards, but the mid-range contenders were still given a fighting chance. With anti-aliasing disabled the Radeon HD 2900XT was actually very impressive, almost matching the GeForce 8800 GTX for performance."
