Xbox 360 Arcade costs $279.99

Microsoft left the lid of their Xbox 360 Arcade console. The firm says this unit will available in stores today for only $279.99.

The Xbox 360 Arcade is more advanced than the original base model but still doesn't features a hard drive. The machine does have a HDMI connector, 256MB of memory and a wireless controller.

Also included are five free arcade games: PAC-MAN Championship Edition (NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc.), UNO (Carbonated Games), Luxor 2 (MumboJumbo), Boom Boom Rocket (Electronic Arts Inc.) and Feeding Frenzy (Sprout Games).
