Samsung 942BW 19-inch LCD display launched

Samsung has unveiled a new 19" widescreen LCD display. The SyncMaster 942BW features a 5ms gray-to-gray response time, 1440 x 900 pixel resolution, 500:1 contrast ratio, 300cd/m² brightness

Intended for both retail and commercial applications, the 942BW monitor can be used across a variety of industries including manufacturing, engineering, banking and various digital signage applications such as food service, transportation and healthcare.

Home users will experience very high resolution video images and superb quality due to the HDCP supported Digital Visual Interface (DVI). Combined with quick response times, these features make the monitor ideal for viewing DVDs and games.

The Samsung 942BW will be available for $249.99.
