Fujitsu announces world first 2.5" Hard Drives

Fujitsu will start shipments of 2.5 inch Serial ATA Hard disks on the 3th of April. There are three models : MHT2040BH/MHT2060BH/MHT2080BH with a capacity of 40, 60 or 80GB. It's the world first 2.5" Serial ATA hard disk, ment for usage in mobile computers.

The motor uses a fluid bearing, and has a speed of 5400RPM. The drives also have a 8MB buffer.

The drives measure 70x100x9.5mm, and their weight is below 99g.
