If we can believe
FUD Zilla the fastest AMD Phenom processor that will be launched in December or January will be clocked at 2.6GHz.
Phenom 2.6GHz is still under the question mark but there is a big chance to see this one either in December or early in next year and 2.8GHz and faster parts have the same future.
The original plan was to launch 2.2 to 2.8GHz as the fastest one this year and then to launch 3.0GHz shortly after but some plans were delayed. Phenom X2 2.2 to 2.4 will certainly launch in about two weeks and it is still unknown when the 2.6GHz part comes out.
