Rumours are going around that the ATI R680 GPU may arrive sooner than most people expect. Nordic Hardware
reports it might even be before the end of this year:
The codename has appeared on a number of leaked slides by now, but we're still not certain when the chip is suppose to arrive. From what we've heard, the development of the two-chip card is coming along nicely, and an optimistic source says that the card could even be launched before the end of the year. Even though the source was optimistic about it, we're certainly not promising anything.
