ExtremeTech has taken a look at the Gateway FHD2400 LCD display. This display is priced pretty competitively at $549 but does it perform well?
Most PC users can't afford a monitor that big and expensive, and many may not even have the desk space it requires. Fortunately, Gateway offers a 24-inch monitor, the FHD2400, with many of the same features as its larger 30-inch cousin. No, it doesn't have the HQV video processor, but it does have a quality Faroudja processor that exceeds what you find in most PC displays. And while it doesn't come with a remote control, it doesn't cost $1,700 either. In fact, the list price for the FHD2400 is $549, which puts it square in the middle of the price range for 24-inch widescreen LCDs. Considering most of the other features, it stands a chance of being our new favorite 24-inch monitor—if the image quality holds up.
Check it out at ExtremeTech. The monitor seems to be a pretty good deal as the reviewer awarded it with a 9/10.
