DFI has released a new P35 based motherboard this week, the LANParty DK P35-T2R/s. This is their fourth motherboard based on the P35 chipset. The firm says this motherboard is a hybrid for both hardcore gamers and budget-minded overclockers.
The LP exclusive black PCB equipped with glowing-orange slots and solid aluminum capacitors. It is really that top-class arrangement that shows the LANParty series quality. DFI means to give players a high-end OC platform, but only at an entry-level price. LP DK P35-T2RS is based on Intel platform. It is entirely supports the latest Intel Quad-core processors. The Northbridge and Southbridge , LP DK P35-T2RS features Intel high performance chipset P35 and ICH9R. Besides, the FSB can reach 1333MHz. This version supports DDRII 800 memory modules.

LANParty DK P35-T2R offers a 4-phrase digital PWM to bring CPU's power supply to perfection. A digital PWM uses components to supply stabilized current, which accommodates enthusiasts ' high demands in OC or gaming purpose; moreover, it supplies sufficient current to whatever the Quad cores processors needs.

LANParty DK P35-T2R offers users a good expansibility; the board has a total of 6 built-in SATAII ports which configures RAID 0/1/0+1/5 functionality. Although the Northbridge does not generally support IDE connectors, while DFI answers to users' demands for considerate users' demands, equips LP DK P35 with an extra JM368 chip to support IDE connector. And if that is not enough, board offers a total of 12 USB2.0 ports for multi-purpose use.

It's worthwhile to note that the audio of LP DK P35-T2RS uses the RealTek's flag ship level, ALC885 8CH sound decoder, which has been certified by Microsoft as highly desirable Windows Vista Premium edition. The DAC SNR/ ADC SNR ratio is 106dB/ 101dB, it provides the highest 192 KHz sampling and 24bit PCM format sound. Gamers can enjoy ultra-realistic 7.1 channel audio in their battles with the quality sound effects that only theaters can provide

The design of BIOS is geared for overclocking. DFI LANParty series€ has taken humongous efforts and resources in BIOS writing from the very beginning at DFI. LP DK P35 keeps this good tradition from LP series, the BIOS setting is “overclockable”. In addition, LP DK P35 also has a smart design, the EZ CMOS jumper, should your system get stuck. It is a jumper on rear IO shield part. Hence, you don't need to open the chassis to clear the CMOS jumper in case your system gets stuck by OC reasons. LANParty DK P35-T2R is by far the most cost-efficient OC performance platform!!
