ASUS EN8800GT TOP - runs 7°C less hot

ASUS unveiled a new 8800 GT graphics card series today which features the EN8800GT TOP/G/HTDP/512M, EN8800GT/G/HTDP/512M, and EN8800GT/G/HTDP/256M graphic cards. All three cards feature a Glaciator Fansink which, according to Asus, results in 7°C lower temperatures.
Additionally, the EN8800GT TOP features overclocking of the stream processors – allowing users to enjoy 10% improvement in gaming experiences. Furthermore, the integrated SmartDoctor feature will provide users with the option to overclock the Shader Clock for even better graphical performances; and the ASUS EN8800GT Series will also come bundled with the hottest DX10 game, Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts.

The ASUS EN8800 Series utilizes a new generation Glaciator Fansink that is specially designed to effectively dissipate heat away from the graphics card. Much like the real-life glacial storms, the Glaciator Fansink can quickly transfer heat away from the GPU and lowers the temperature by a whopping 7ºC in comparison to reference design boards*. On top of this unprecedented cooling capacity, it is also half quieter than generic designed fansinks – catering to users who require maximum cooling without excessive fan rotation noise.

Gamers can expect stream processor clock performance boosts from 1500MHz up to an incredible 1750MHz. Such unprecedented performance upgrades help raise the EN8800 GT TOP’s 3DMark06 score from 10112 to 11119 – an incredible 10% improvement in speed compared to any other reference designed board. Gamers can now feel the adrenaline rush of superior gaming performance only with the ASUS EN8800GT TOP/G/HTDP/512M.
