Nintendo to launch new game console with two screens and two CPUs

Posted on Wednesday, January 21 2004 @ 12:51:30 CET by

By the end of this year Nintendo is going to release a new game console worldwide with two processors, and two thee inch colour LCD screens.
The CPUs will be paired 32-bit chips, the paper said, although the report gives no further details of the microprocessors.

Nintendo will roll out the specs of the machine in the USA at a video game show in May.

What's with the two screens? The newspaper said it will allow people to, for example, monitor a football game field on one screen and see the game from an opponent's viewpoint.

The article continues that the console will be a foldable device.
