DigiTimes reports the rumour that Asus is planning to reduce shipments of AMD-based notebooks is false:
Asustek was reported to be planning to drop the ratio of AMD notebook platforms while increasing those of Intel, according to sources at notebook component makers. However Jellent Sun, manager of Asustek's notebook division has stated that AMD's proportion will remain at 18-22%.

Sun pointed out that both platforms have their own market demand and Asustek will maintain a suitable ratio to meet this demand in the future.
