Dell Latitude XT tablet PC unveiled

Dell is rolling out a new tablet PC - the Latitude XT. This system starts at $2,499 and features a 12.1" touch screen. The notebook weighs less than four pound features several new technologies.

Dell claims the Latitude XT has a faster touch response time than the Lenovo X61T and that the digitizer technology is up to 10 times more durable than competing resistive touch digitizer technology. Another thing Dell mentioned in their press release is that the Latitude XT features palm rejection technology which helps to prevent inadvertent contact that disrupts pen input.
