Today is the launch date of the new G92 based GeForce 8800 GTS. One of the first firms to contact me with info about their new GTS is MSI. They've just released their MSI NX8800GTS-T2D512E-OC graphics card which features a 730MHz core, 1944MHz GDDR3 memory and 1825MHz shaders.
MSI provides an overclocked version which is up to 12% faster. MSI is using a new and improved dual slot cooler with noise reduction and better cooling performances then the MSI NX8800GT series with single slot cooler. With its new wafering technology, PCI Express 2.0 support, easy over-clocking possibilities and high bandwidth the MSI NX8800GTS-T2D512E- OC is ready to meet the demands for DirectX10 gaming and future technology.
The card ships with two games: Dirt and The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar.
