Dat Quake 2 niet dood is bewijst Quake2 maX! Deze Quake 2-mod voegt verscheidene nieuwe dingen toe zoals onder andere :
  • 32-bit color skin/texture support
  • Texture Compression
  • Particle Engine
  • RScript Shaders, to include spheremapping, detail textures, animation skins.
  • Stainmaps
  • Dynamic Shadows
  • Transparent surface vertex lighting
  • Voor deze mod heb je de full version van Quake 2 nodig en de 3.20 update voor Quake 2.
    Ook belangrijk om te weten is dat deze mod enkel OpenGL ondersteunt , software en 3dfx mode zijn niet ondersteunt.
