Sharkoon launched a new MP3 player with a 1.8" LCD display: the ViVoDO. The player has an illuminated touchpad and features a 160 x 128 pixel display that can show JPG photo and AVI video files.
The Sharkoon ViViDO supports the formats JPG, MP3, WMA and AVI, and with help from the included conversion software the video formats RM, VOB, DAT and RMVB. The player reproduces frequencies ranging from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. In addition to playing media files, the device can display text data and be used as a dictation device. Power is provided by a lithium ion battery, and energy saving technologies allow for adjustments to be made to the display and touchpad backlighting. With dimensions of 90mm x 42 mm x 9 mm (H x W x D) and a minimal weight of 32 grams, the Sharkoon ViViDO is an easy-to-carry companion.
The ViViDO is available in red, blue and black in capacities of one, two and four gigabytes. The 1GB, 2GB and 4GB version costs 45EUR, 55EUR and 70EUR, respectively.
