DigiTimes reports Asus is going to suspend its plans to manufacture motherboards in Vietnam.
Asustek Computer was previously reported to be planning to move its production lines to Vietnam, however the company has recently suspended the plans saying that compared to other emerging markets including Vietnam, India and Russia, operating costs in China are still comparatively the lowest, therefore the company will not make any move in a short-term, according to a Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report citing sources at the company.
According to the newspaper Asus found that Vietnam's incomplete transportation system isn't suited for their plans.
