Ingram Micro unveiled a new budget LCD display in their V7 lineup. The new 24" D24W33 costs only $459 - pretty cheap for a 24" display but I wonder how much quality you will get.

The display features a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250cd/m² brightness and 160-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles.
The D24W33 boasts several features typically available only in higher-priced models, including an ultra-fast 2 millisecond response time that reduces pixellation of moving images; HDMI input for game playing, DVD viewing and video conferencing; built-in speakers; and the ability to swivel the unit 90 degrees and pivot into portrait mode. The monitor also features a high-resolution 1920x1200 display, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250-nit brightness and 160-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles.

"With the D24W33, V7 is offering an LCD monitor with features that were once the domain of high-end graphic artists at a price point that's easily accessible for consumers and businesses," said Rainer Kozlik, vice president and general manager of Ingram Micro's Global V7 Private Label Group.
