Three gaming notebooks compared

ExtremeTech has taken a look at three gaming notebooks: the Asus G1S, Alienware Area-51 m9750 and Falcon-Northwest FragBook TLS:
Nevertheless, we trucked on with three gaming laptops, spanning price ranges from the mid $1000's to nearly $4000 (which was the maximum price allowed). The lowest priced laptop came from ASUS with the G1S. Next is the Falcon-Northwest FragBook TLS. The last is the Alienware Area-51 m9750. Alienware might be the most well-known maker of gaming computers. The company started humbly.

All three proved to be terrific laptops, with all kinds of features. Surprisingly, the least expensive of the bunch managed to include a range of features and performance matching one of more than double its price. Each has its own level of polish: the ASUS and Falcon-Northwest laptops include shiny gloss casing, while the Alienware's cover has a glowing representation of the company's ubiquitous logo.
