Best tech of 2007

After taking a look at the worst tech of the year ExtremeTech also published a list of the ten best technologies of 2007. Here's one of the positive things of last year:
10. A Great Year for Gaming BioShock. Call of Duty 4. Overlord. Gears of War for Windows. The Witcher. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts. Crysis. Orange Box. Unreal Tournament 3. Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance. No matter how you cut it, 2007 was a fantastic year for PC gaming.

In fact, just the Holiday season alone brought us a bevy of titles that filled us with desire (and emptied our wallets). While there was no huge standout hit like The Sims or Diablo, what the industry lacked in sheer sales it made up for with quality. All of the games mentioned above, and more, drove me crazy with the desire to finish them (which, with my recent schedule, has been impossible).
