NEC shows off 2880 x 900 CSD - just like Alienware

It's pretty clear that Alienware arouses a lot more press attention than brands like NEC. Alienware's curved gaming display was already widely discussed on the Internet on Monday but it took until yesterday for people to notice that NEC was showing something very similar at CES.

Engadget writes NEC's CRVD-42DWX+ display features a 2880 x 900 pixel resolution and a contrast ratio of 10,000:1.

We're assuming they're both built by the same ODM, Ostendo, so hopefully some healthy competition will help bring one of these two beauties within your meager gaming budget. Unfortunately, like the Alienware model, there's no pricing or shipping information.
