The Tech Report writes the GeForce 9600 GT may be delayed a week:
AMD launched its Radeon HD 3600 and 3400 graphics processors today, but it'll take another month for Nvidia to launch its own next-gen mainstream product, according to a story on Expreview. Recent rumors suggested the GeForce 9600 GT was scheduled for a launch on February 14, but Expreview now says the card has been pushed back until February 21.

Reportedly, some GeForce 9600 GT cards "have voltage offset issues 'during certain applications'," and Nvidia needs some time to iron out the problem. Additionally, the advent of the Chinese New Year is said to be a factor in the postponement.
Official information isn't available yet but rumour sites say the card will have a 650MHz GPU, 256-bit memory bus and 512MB of 900MHz GDDR3 memory. Performance is expected to be quite good, close to 80% of the performance of the 8800 GT.
