Nokia won't make Windows Mobile phones

A couple of days ago there was a rumour that Microsoft was in talks with Nokia over Windows Mobile based phones but Nokia's president Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo said at 3GSM in Barcelona that Nokia has no plans to use Windows Mobile at the moment.

Kallasvuo said Nokia will unveil a new version of its Symbian S60 touchscreen platform in the second half of 2008.

Nokia's rival Sony Ericsson unveiled its first Windows Mobile phone today, the Xperia X1. This phone is made by HTC and features a large 3" touchscreen, 3.2 megapixel camera, WiFi, ...
