Call of Duty 5 to be released before March 2009

ActiVision announced it will release a new Call of Duty and three Guitar Hero games before the end of its fiscal 2008 (which ends on March 31, 2009).

Just like the somewhat disappointing Call of Duty 3 the fifth installment in the CoD series will be made by Treyarch and not by Infinity Ward which released the magnificent CoD4 last year.

Few details are available about CoD5, except that it will be available for the Wii and PS2 in addition to other major gaming platforms.
