writes AMD is planning to transfer more elements of its chip manufacturing:
Bloomberg said the move could happen in the next few months as way of avoiding more capital expenditure, quoting AMD rep Drew Prairie. He said that it already shares testing with IBM, and wants to do similar things with manufacturing.
