Intel to supply digital TV tech in China

Intel made a deal with China Digital TV Holding to provide digital TV technology for the Chinese market.
Intel will provide processor chips for equipment made by China Digital.

The companies did not disclose the terms of the deal.

China Digital provides conditional access, a technology that allows television network operators to deliver customized content to subscribers.
