heard some first-tier Taiwanese motherboard makers begun shipments of motherboards with the new Intel X48 chipset. Volumes are still small but mass shipments are expected next week.
Asustek Computer and Gigabyte Technology both started shipping the motherboards this week.
In additional to the X48, Intel will launch a P45 chipset in the second quarter of 2008, while the first-tier motherboard makers have already started showcasing their P45-based motherboards.
