Posted on Tuesday, March 18 2008 @ 14:19:27 CET by

Today is the official launch date of the GeForce 9800 GX2 graphics card! The first company that send me informaton about their new card was Chaintech, they claim their Chaintech GAE98GX2 graphics card is up to 30-50% faster than a GeForce 8800 Ultra.
Positioned specifically to target the higher-level enthusiasts’ markets, new CHAINTECH GAE98GX2 graphics card is absolutely the “Wow” version for gamers and comes in with a core clock of 600MHz and 2000MHz memory clock with 1GB GDDR3 memory. It features 256 stream processors that can bring blazing graphics performance with maximum quality for today’s most demanding shader model 4.0 games. Furthermore, it is the highest-level graphics card in the market with an impressive performance up to 30%-50% than 8800Ultra.

In addition to two DVI ports for digital signal output, the GAE98GX2 graphics card also features an HDMI interface and an HDTV output. Moreover, it supports Quad SLI technology which delivers the most extreme HD (XHD) gaming experience available on the PC. Quad SLI technology features two dual-GPU GeForce 9800GX2 graphics cards paired with an NVIDIA nForce® SLI™ -Ready motherboard. Each dual-GPU GeForce® 9800GX2 graphics card boasts a 512-bit memory interface and an astounding 1GB of super-fast GDDR3 memory, enabling an exceptionally smooth, ultra-realistic gaming experience at resolutions up to 2560x1600.
