Google has announced two major improvements to its software products this week.

The most important update is that Google Docs will soon get offline access, Google says this update will be rolled out over the next few weeks. Unfortunately it's still quite limited, users will still not be able to create new documents offline but Google ensures that this feature will definitely follow in the future. The firm also said that they're also working on offline support for Google's spreadsheet and presentation application.

Users of Google Earth will be glad to hear that Google Street View will soon be available in Google Earth. This feature was first added to Google Maps in May 2007.
