NVIDIA D10U-30 to arrive in Q2 2008

FUD Zilla writes NVIDIA is working on a new graphics card with 1024MB of DDR3 memory. The chip will be launched this quarter and is codenamed D10U-30. Few details are known but the site speculates this may be a 55nm shrink of the G92 GPU.
This is the chip that comes before GT200, and GT200 should be out in Q3 or early Q4.

The board will have quite nasty heat dissipation, as we’ve learned that Nvidia warned its partners to expect approximately 225 to 250W dissipation from the card. This information leads us to believe that this is yet another dual chip card.

Just remember the real chip you want is the GT200 or AMD's R700. All others are just imitations to get you to spend money before the real beef is served.
