CoolIT Pure CPU cooler tested

ExtremeTech has published a review of the CoolIT Pure processor cooler, you can check it out over here.
We first covered CoolIT Systems' peltier-plus-liquid CPU coolers back in 2006 with the introduction of the Freezone. We further covered their high-end Eliminator cooler last year. Many enthusiasts have shown interest in the totally sealed and maintenance-free cooling systems made by CoolIT, but the price tags are a little scary. For the somewhat less aggressive overclocking enthusiast who wants to save some money, the company has just released the Pure—a sub-$140 water cooling solution that offers less heat dissipation at a greatly reduced cost.
The reviewer says this cooling solution provides decent cooling at fairly quiet noise levels but says it's not really worth it because a good air cooler performs just as good and costs a lot less money.
