AMD to launch Socket 939 processors at Computex

Next week at the Computex exhibition in Taiwan AMD is finally going to introduce its 939-pin processors. These chips have 512KB cache and are based on a new core.
We don’t have any idea when those CPUs will be available but it seems to us that it should not take too long, AMD has vowed it won't announce products until it's able to ship them. There are quite a lot of motherboards ready for this CPU and at least three chipsets are ready - th K8T800PRO, Nforce 3 250 Ultra and the SIS 755, while we are not aware of ALI's position, yet. Memory wise this platform is faster but I hope you don’t expect miracles from it.
