GeForce 9600 GSO expected in May

DigiTimes writes NVIDIA is going to squeeze another mid-range graphics card out of its G92 GPU next month. The site also writes NVIDIA will roll out 55nm G92 GPUs in July, these chips are codenamed G92b and will be used by the GeFroce 9900 series:
The GeForce 9600 GSO will based on the company's G92 GPU and will target the mid-range graphics card market. Card makers are expecting to pay Nvidia around US$50-55 for the chip.

In other news, Nvidia is planning to advance the process technology of the G92 GPUs to the 55nm node in July, in order to lower costs and increase core clocks. The 55nm GPUs will be codenamed G92b. The new GeForce 9900 series, which will launch in the second half this year is expected to continue the adoption of the G92 design.
