Intel GM47 mobile graphics run at 640MHz

Intel's GM47 mobile GPU, which will end up in the upcoming Montevina platform, will run at 640MHz. According to FUD Zilla this IGP will be twice as fast in 3DMark06 than the old G965.
This actually sounds a bit better than it really is, as GM965 scores around incredibly low 950 points while Nvidia’s Geforce Go 8400M with 128MB will score at least 1400 marks on a same, or very similar, machine.

The new GM47 can get you to 1800 to 2000 3Dmark points, and you can bet that mobile Geforce 9 IGP in chipset or Mobility Radeon chipset will do better.

Intel again promises DirectX 10 and whenever I see this it really makes me laugh, as Intel is probably a 3D decelerator rather than accelerator, and even its dual screen drivers suck, even in 2008 (based on personal experience F-ed.).
