Another executive leaves AMD

FUD Zilla writes another executive has left AMD:
Stephen DiFranco, VP of consumer sales and marketing, is leaving the company. DiFranco was the man behind AMD's attack on the retail market and its renewed focus on the notebook market a couple of years ago.

DiFranco has more than two decades of experience in the channel market and prior to his tenure at AMD he worked for a number of other tech companies, most notably Sony, Maxtor and Iomega.
It's not sure if DiFranco left on his own accord or whether his departure was part of AMD's plan to layoff 10 percent of its employees.
