FUD Zilla reports Asus will build a $428.6 million manufacturing plant in China.
One of Taiwan’s major computer outfits, ASUSTek, has laid the foundation for a $428.6 million factory on mainland China's Jiangxi Province. The factory in Ji'an city will produce copper wire yarn and computer accessories in the preliminary stage.

According to ASUSTek the factory will also make motherboards and assemble notebook computers. Getting the attention of ASUSTek is a bit of a coup for China.
