NVIDIA to ship 100 million GPUs this year

Reuters reports NVIDIA has increased chip orders to TSSMC and UMC as demand for consumer notebooks remains robust.

Nvidia Chief Executive Officer Jen-Hsun Huang said the firm will increase orders to the Taiwan makers as Nvidia has a target of shipping 100 million graphic cards this year, the Chinese language newspaper reported on Saturday.
