ATI RV770 launch by end of June?

Posted on Tuesday, May 13 2008 @ 16:57:19 CEST by

FUD Zilla claims the ATI RV770XT and RV770PRO GPUs will be shown off at Computex, but AMD won't launch them until the last week of June.
We've learned that AMD plans a launch and retail /etail availability of RV770XT and PRO based products in the last week of June.

We've told you before that the real retail availability is planned for Q3 2008 and Q3 as you might know will start with the first day of July. If AMD decided to launch the card at Computex, the retail cards would follow after three weeks and the company doesn’t want that.
