In the third quarter of this year Intel will release its first six-core Dunnington processor. FUD Zilla heard this chip will be called Xeon 7460 and says it will have a clockspeed of 2.66GHz and 16MB of cache. There will also be a 2.4GHz version with 12MB cache, that's the Xeon X7450.
This CPU will use FSB1066 and it will officially be known as Xeon X7460; and there will be a 2.4GHz version branded as Xeon X7450 that will work at 2.4GHz and have 12MB of cache.

The CPUs will be awfully expensive and we also heard it will need a new socket. It is still scheduled for Q3 2008 launch.
