AMD RV870 to have 1000 shader processors?

VR Zone published a small snip about the ATI RV870 GPU.

The site heard this chip will be based on a completely new architecture and may have 1000 shader processors, which is a more than twice as much as the upcoming RV770.

Another rumour is that AMD will release a 45nm RV730 by the end of this year, that chip is called RV740.
