Gigabyte M912 Atom notebook unveiled

Gigabyte is showing off the Atom-based M912 notebook at Computex. This 8.9" device has a battery life of around 4 hours and weighs 1.2kg.

  • 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU
  • Intel 945GSE chipset
  • 8.9" LCD touchscreen, 1280 x 768 pixel resolution and LED backlight
  • 2.5" 120/160/250GB SATA HDD
  • Max 1GB memory
  • 1.3MP webcam
  • 802.11b/g WiFi
  • Windows XP or Linux
  • Optional external optical drive
