Intel DX580SO pictured at Computex

Intel is showcasing the X58-based DX58SO motherboard for the Nehalem processor at Computex. As you can see on the photo below the motherboard has some design changes:
The layout is different to today’s scheme: VRM located in the middle of the board, PCIe and CPU slot is right next to it. Because northbridge no more contains memory controller so it seems no overheating problem there, only a weak heatsink can solve the heat.
